Hello Chih-Wei Huang,
Liveboot is currently not supported in CELADON.
Out boot team is working to enable it.
Currently you can use below workaround provided by our Boot team member [Tan Ming] to enable live boot :
Step 1 : Disable below features [make it false] in "device/intel/project-celadon/celadon/mixins.spec"
tos_partition=false
trusty: false
avb: false
slot-ab: false
Step 2 : Pick below PR
https://github.com/projectceladon/bootable-live-installer/pull/2
Step 3 : Compile for celadon GRUB [Steps : https://github.com/projectceladon/manifest/wiki#grub-enabled-build ]
Please try & let us know :)
Thanks & Regards,
G Sundar

I have built celadon.img and dd it to a USB disk per instructions. On booting, there is no live mode as before.
What's the correct procedure to build a live image?
Or is it still supported?
I hope so since it's much easier to test in this way. It's not always easy to find a dedicated machine to install the image.

No, except the steps you mentioned.

I think it's "use GRUB to load Android OS"
I chose "PROJECTCELADON Live Boot" in the grub menu.
(or what else item should I use?)
FYI, this is tested on an Apollo Lake device.
I also tested on another Skylake device.
It's worse. It just rebooted immediately (no boot animation).
How do you debug usually in such a situation?
I don't have a serial port now.

Subject: Update on 01.org Android-IA community
Hello Everyone!
We are excited to let you know about the refresh of the Android-IA project called Celadon<http://www.01.org/projectceladon>. Celadon is the open sourced Android reference stack for Intel architecture that you are already familiar with, but now with more added to the stack. What started with a few open source drivers support including Mesa i965<http://www.mesa3d.org/>, I915 Linux Kernel Graphics Driver<https://01.org/linuxgraphics/community/kernel>, and Video Acceleration API<https://01.org/linuxgraphics/community/vaapi> last year has since grown into a feature-rich Android stack for IA.
You are receiving this note because you were previously subscribed to the "android-ia" mailing list. We have automatically moved you into this "celadon" mailing list and will be eventually retiring the "android-ia" list.
Celadon will continue to be dedicated to driving Android support and innovation on IA in addition to providing a place for collaboration. We believe Celadon can help you enhance validation, debug and accelerate development across Android implementations on IA platforms.
For more information, visit <https://01.org/android-ia/user-guides/android-reference-implementations-u....> https://01.org/projectCeladon. Thanks for being part of this community and we hope you'll continue with us on this journey. Please reach out if you have questions.
