Re: Understanding CIC
by Yao, Yong
Hi, Kartik,
AIC-manager is not the another container but the manager of AIC (Android in container) image. Can you give more details about the green color issue?
The reason why we choose the docker is because it is very popular but Android image of CIC also could run into other run-c containers like LXC/LXD. Any specific reason or usage case you want to use LXC/LXD? If yes, we do consider to add it into our support.

Understanding CIC
by Kartik Jindal
Hi Celadon team,
I have been trying to use Celadon in Container solution. When i use docker
CLI commands I see that other than the Android containers, there is one
more container called AIC-manager. Can you please explain what this
container does, so that I can understand the need of it. I see that there
are display related files in the container, but I am not really sure what
they do. I am facing an issue where the screen comes in green colour, and
hence wanted to understand this better.
It would be really helpful if you could explain about this container, and
the need for it.
Also on a side note, can you please explain why docker was chosen as the
choice for containers instead of going with LXC/LXD? Is it mainly because
all platforms were meant to be supported?
Thanks.

Subject: [01.org Celadon] Celadon docker compose
Hi – I was looking at https://01.org/projectceladon/documentation/getting_started/on-container running Celadon in a docker container.
Related to that – I was wondering if there exists docker compose files for launching Android and AIC manager instead of AIC scripts?
