1.Make sure your bios version greater than DNKBLi5v.86A.0067 ( to update bios

2. Device mode selection in bios.
In bios , Advanced -> Devices ->USB -> USB Configuration -> USB 3.0 Port

Hi Jingdong,
Yes, you are right, that is also an issue on my setup. I did the following:
1. Installed the ADB USB drivers from
https://developer.android.com/studio/run/win-usb
this seems to be 32-bit device drivers, so my Win 10 Pro 64-bit did use them when i
updated the drivers and I continue to not see the Intel NUC on adb.
2. Installed Intel recommended device drivers from
https://software.intel.com/content/www/us/en/develop/articles/intel-usb-d...
I still don't see NUC on ADB, the problem is on the 64-bit device drivers
installation on Win 10 Pro. Any advice please suggest.

Hi Jingdong,
Thank you with the instructions you provided and i am able to boot a bare-metal Android
9 by downloading binary from
https://github.com/projectceladon/celadon-binary/blob/master/CELADON_01.2....
I enabled "Developer Options" but still not able to see the NUC in Win 10

To check if adb service is running on NUC, i launched the terminal app on the NUC, but i
keep getting permission denied even on 'ls' command.
Please point me to a known build in which adb works, i will give it a shot. I need any

Hi Sateesh,
If you want to run Celadon on bare metal, I think the following release should be fine.
https://github.com/projectceladon/celadon-documentation/blob/master/sourc...
Adb & Fastboot supported over USB 2.0 and USB 3.0
You can download binary from below link for a try.
https://github.com/projectceladon/celadon-binary/tree/master/CELADON_01.2...
I noted you have tried that, but your flash commands seems to be not correct.
For example, start_android_qcow2.sh is to start CIV, not bare metal.
Please refer to the following flash steps. (I didn’t verify it by myself, just for your
reference)
i. download zip file to Ubuntu folder, and unzip to a folder;
ii. go to this folder, you will see the img files, like:
boot.img bootloader.img config.img flash.json gpt.bin installer.cmd installer.efi
startup.nsh super_empty.img super.img system.img vbmeta.img vendor.img
iii. insert a pan drive to Ubuntu host, and make sure pan drive mounted to a
folder;
iv. Copy all the files in step ii to pan drive root folder;
v. insert to pan drive to NUC port on the back, and power on NUC with keypad;
vi. press F10 during boot up to UEFI: Built-in EFI Shell;
vii. efi shell will auto detect install.cmd file and start to flash;
viii. after flash completed, NUC will auto boot to Android.
Thanks,
Jingdong

Hi Balaji,
Thank you for your quick response. Could you please send me instructions on how to run
Android natively without any container. I guess adb works right out of the box for native
Android builds. Please confirm.
Thank you.

Hi Balaji,
I did the following steps:
1. binary from
https://github.com/projectceladon/celadon-binary/tree/master/CELADON_01.2...
copied to the Ubuntu on NUC, then the following commands:
2. $sudo ./scripts/start_flash_usb.sh cel_kbl-flashfiles-eng.build.zip
A QEMU window started and reached upto Erasing bootloader ....
Erasing
The QEMU window got stuck at this message.
3. I killed the QEMU and gave Step2 command again.
4. This time i got a android.qcow , but error with Open GL ES not being supported.
5. $sudo ./start_android_qcow2.sh --display-off
6. I got a message that Android started with certain PID.
7. From my laptop after connecting the USD I have adb devices, still unable to detect
NUC.
Please advise how to get adb, i need adb over USB because there are other tools in the
chain which issue adb over USB.
Also please point me to adb over WiFi, so i can try that out as Plan-B. Thank you very
much.

if adb over usb is mandatory for your work , we recommend to fall back to Android ‘P’(

Hi Balaji,
Please find details.
NUC Variant = NUC7i5DNH
Build Variant = 10 (QQ1D.200105.002)
I tried the usual Developer Options = ON ---- > USB Debugging = ON and also each and
every possible setting of USB Configuartion (File Transfer, USB tethering, MIDI, PTP and
No data transfer) one by one. Still I could not get the ADB to list the NUC.
Please advise if this is the latest version of Android release which i can try out
CIV_00.20.02.19_A10<https://github.com/projectceladon/celadon-document...
on my NUC. I am interested in running Native Android to connect to Robot-framework to run
automated tests.
Thank you in advance.

I have enabled developer option and made sure that USB debugging is ON. I have connected

Please advise, i am on build number 202000329, could that be a problem.
