If you select " PROJECTCELADON Live Boot ", then it is use GRUB to load
Android OS directly.
When you build the image, which lunch target you selected?
I will use a hardware platform (Joule) which has serial port to debug the boot system at
first, then try it in other system.

Have you modified some files?
No, except the steps you mentioned.
Are you use kernelflinger to load Android OS, or use GRUB to load
Android OS directly? Or use GRUB to load kernelflinger, and kernelflinger to load Android
I think it's "use GRUB to load Android OS"
I chose "PROJECTCELADON Live Boot" in the grub menu.
(or what else item should I use?)
FYI, this is tested on an Apollo Lake device.
I also tested on another Skylake device.
It's worse. It just rebooted immediately (no boot animation).
How do you debug usually in such a situation?
I don't have a serial port now.
