[HPDD-discuss] Lustre 2.4 update - December 7th 2012

Hi there Here is an update on the Lustre 2.4 release. Landings ======== -A number of landings made - see http://git.whamcloud.com/?p=fs/lustre-release.git;a=shortlog;h=refs/heads... -The most significant of these is arguably the fix for LU-2297 as this issue was frequently causing failures during review test runs -Several fixes landed that should improve the test results with SLES11 SP2 clients Testing ======= -Testing on the 2.3.56 tag has completed; a new tag is expected shortly Blockers ======== -Full list available at http://jira.whamcloud.com/secure/IssueNavigator.jspa?mode=hide&reques... Other ===== -ZFS testing is being done in parallel with ldiskfs testing for all uploads into gerrit but only the latter affects the ability to land while configuration issues are being worked through with the former -The master branch is open for feature landings.
