Hi all,
I noticed that all mail to intel-kgt from non subscribers is bounced
unconditionally.
In my opinion, that's not a good idea: lists implementing a
subscriber-only policy should hold non subscriber mail, and have list
moderator review it and white-list non subscribers after manual review.
Yes, this involves some work if the list is very active,
but yours isn't so it should not be a big deal.
Alternatively, just allow non-subscriber posting, and see what happens.
I am subscribed to many open lists and spam isn't always a big deal
there. You will be able to re-enact stricter rules down the road if you
see that smap is a big problem for your list.
As it is, even though I'm subscribed, I can not send email to your list
and copy other mailing lists such as kvm, since when someone will reply,
his or her mail will be bounced.
This is not nice.
Thanks!
