Hi all, I'm pleased to announce the 1.8.0 release of intel-vaapi-driver, the VAAPI driver for Intel GEN graphics. This release brings quite number of changes and fixes, the most notable is the new AVC encoder on SkyLake+ and VP8 encoder on Braswell+ which bring great improvement for AVC/VP8 encoding quality and add support for VBR encoding. Thanks to everybody who contributed to this release!
