It is extremely difficult for an outsider to judge the state or
capabilities of this project, so please forgive my naive question...
Is it possible to use an external USB dongle that can do voice as well
as data (I think the Huawei K3565 modem can do this) and the Ofono
software to 'build' a 'moblie phone' ?
I am looking for something I can plug into my Linux desktop, netbook
or tablet as required, and make and receive calls. I would be
perfectly happy with using it from the command-line. All the current
phones I see seem to feel that they need to be held against one's
head, and I think it would be beneficial to separate the audio
subsystem from the screen+keyboard and the actual GSM hardware.
