Dear Sir/Madam,
I would like to know what kind of BIOS is needed for powerTop to operate.
It would be really great if you could please let me know the exact detail
of some BIOS on which powerTop worked. I really appreciate the help.

not all computers have a BIOS where the BIOS reports the battery
discharge rate to the operating system..... there's not a lot we can do
about that.
