Hi ,
I tried to clone the powertop repository using github to download latest source in
my build machine. But the installation fails with attached error. Has anyone encountered
similar issue with GitHub? Will be thankful to get any BKM for this.

Github is working fine for all of us.... perhaps it's because we're using Linux?
If you just want to read the source code, use the github webinterface
to read the source code. If you want to build it, and run it, you
really have to use Linux.
