I downloaded the source from https://github.com/fenrus75/powertop and compiled in my host machine (Ubuntu 12.04) Then I copied the binary to the baytrail-M board on which I need to take measurements. When I run the powertop binary, it seems to work and I could even get the output in csv or html format. But, my problem is that I could not configure any other parameter while running the tool. For example, powertop --time 60 does not work. Neither does powertop --iteration 3 It always says it is taking 1 measurement in 20 seconds. I notice that it reports that it could not load from file /var/cache/powertop/saved-parameters.powertop. Is that an issue? Should I install some configuration file somewhere in my target machine? Has anyone tried running powertop on chromeOS? Any pointers to fix this issue would be of great help to me. Thanks, Saranya
