I suspect that the new Funambol server is no longer sending a full name (FN)
property.

You can check your sysynclib_linux.html file and verify what data is sent by
the server:
- use "syncevolution --print-sessions --quiet funambol" to find the directory
with the file
- open it in a browser
- unfold everying by clicking +++ at the top
- search for an example contact
- check that contact for FN, N, FILE-AS and/or quote it here
SyncEvolution could fabricate a FN from the N components. What outcome would
you expect in such a case?

I was an initial refresh after an 8->9 upgrade. Nothing special that I'm aware
of. v8 was working fine. I regen'd the configuration using the command line
and it still isn't populating full name, so it's consistent.
The data was created from funambol's BB client. Is it possible that the
funambol site is interpreting the File As data into the First Name and Last
name and thus giving the impression that Full Name is populated?
Any additional info I can provide?

[Bug 5676] New: Scheduleworld + Evolution: "Categories" of Notes not recognized by each other
by bugzilla@moblin.org
http://bugzilla.moblin.org/show_bug.cgi?id=5676
Summary: Scheduleworld + Evolution: "Categories" of Notes not
recognized by each other
Classification: Moblin Projects
Product: SyncEvolution
Version: upstream
Platform: Netbook
OS/Version: Moblin Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: Undecided
Component: SyncEvolution
AssignedTo: patrick.ohly(a)intel.com
ReportedBy: yanshuang.zheng(a)intel.com
QAContact: yanshuang.zheng(a)intel.com
CC: shuang.wan(a)intel.com, syncevolution(a)lists.intel.com
Release Milestone: Undecided
When syncing Notes/memos between Scheduleworld and Evolution, "Categories" will
be missed during sync, no matter from server or client.
Environment: Ubuntu9.04 with sync-0.9 and eds-2.26.1 as client,
Scheduleworld-625
Steps:
=====================
1. create a note noteA on Scheduleworld with "Categories" filled
2. run sync(refresh-from-server)
===>in Evolution Memos, "Categories" of noteA is empty
===>in EDS, no attributes like "CATEGORIES"
3. edit noteA on client, fill "Categories"(by checking available categories)
4. run sync(refresh-from-client)
===> on scheduleworld web interface, "Categories" of noteA is empty
===> in EDS, attributes "CATEGORIES" keep value I have selected( e.g Birthday )
log shows that syncevolution doesn't parse categories of notes. Is this by
design that we don't support "categories" of Notes?

--- Comment #4 from shuangeeer <yanshuang.zheng(a)intel.com> 2009-08-26 19:43:38 ---
I failed to reproduce your issue. What I did was:
1) create a contact on funambol with all fields about name filled(see
screenshot1 - funambol)
2) do a sync in mode refresh-from-server
==> The result I got is as expected, with all filled fields synced to
client.(see screenshot2 - evolution contacts).
3) check EDS and confirmed that the attributes are correctly parsed:

My test environment is Ubuntu9.04 with sync-0.9 and

Did you have any special operation to trigger your issue?

[Bug 4703] New: ScheduleWorld: delete on server can not sync to client (after doing slow sync)
by bugzilla@moblin.org
http://bugzilla.moblin.org/show_bug.cgi?id=4703
Summary: ScheduleWorld: delete on server can not sync to client
(after doing slow sync)
Classification: Moblin Projects
Product: SyncEvolution
Version: upstream
Platform: Netbook
OS/Version: Moblin Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: major
Priority: Undecided
Component: SyncML
AssignedTo: patrick.ohly(a)intel.com
ReportedBy: weibin.pan(a)intel.com
QAContact: yanshuang.zheng(a)intel.com
CC: shuang.wan(a)intel.com, syncevolution(a)lists.intel.com
package: syncevolution-0.8.1.99.4.09beta3-1.1.moblin2.i586
steps:
1. delete all data first, configure a service with scheduleworld template:
$syncevolution -c -y username=<username> -y password=<password> -l
scheduleworld test
2. create one item on server, and run a sync to make all data synced:
$syncevolution --run -s two-way test
3. now server and client both have one item, run slow sync:
$syncevolution --run -s slow test
4. now server and client still both have one item, delete the item on server
and run two-way sync:
$syncevolution --run -s two-way test
after all these steps, now sever has no item and client remains one item, the
status of server and client is not synchronized.

[Bug 3009] interoperability with mobical.net
by bugzilla@moblin.org
http://bugzilla.moblin.org/show_bug.cgi?id=3009
--- Comment #44 from yongsheng zhu <yongsheng.zhu(a)intel.com> 2009-08-25 05:43:37 ---
(In reply to comment #43)
> We have all of the code in the master branches and mobical.net is tested
> nightly, right? Are we ready to enable it as "consumer ready" for 0.9.1?
Yes, I have enabled it in nightly test. However, since there are some failures
for these 2 days(regressions and some mistake in new scripts), we don't get a
full correct test results. It is expected to get correct result tomorrow. Once
result is confirmed, we can change it as resolved and enable it as 'consumer
ready'.

[Bug 4919] New: GTK-UI: memory use-after-free when server cannot be started
by bugzilla@moblin.org
http://bugzilla.moblin.org/show_bug.cgi?id=4919
Summary: GTK-UI: memory use-after-free when server cannot be

Classification: Moblin Projects

Severity: normal

ReportedBy: patrick.ohly(a)intel.com
CC: syncevolution(a)lists.intel.com
If the syncevo-dbus-server cannot be started, then sync-ui runs into a
use-after-free error and may crash.
The chain of events is like this:
* syncevo_service_get_server_config_async(): create data
* get_server_config_async_error(): called, frees data
* get_server_config_async_error(): called again with same data pointer, now
invalid
Here's the valgrind report (only appears when running with
G_SLICE=always-malloc G_DEBUG=gc-friendly):

I'm not sure what the right memory handling for data is. As a workaround I have
removed the g_slice_delete(). Better leak some memory instead of crashing...
Jussi, please check this.
