[Bug 9561] New: compile error in synthesis (=?UTF-8?Q?unused=20variable=20=E2=80=98cbVersion=E2=80=99?=)
by bugzilla@moblin.org
http://bugzilla.moblin.org/show_bug.cgi?id=9561
Summary: compile error in synthesis (unused variable
‘cbVersion’)
Classification: Moblin Projects
Product: SyncEvolution
Version: upstream
Platform: Netbook
OS/Version: Moblin Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: Undecided
Component: SyncML
AssignedTo: patrick.ohly(a)intel.com
ReportedBy: jku(a)linux.intel.com
QAContact: yanshuang.zheng(a)intel.com
CC: syncevolution(a)lists.intel.com
I'm seeing this compile error:
/home/jku/intel/sources/syncevolution/../libsynthesis/src/sysync_SDK/Sources/enginemodulebase.cpp:
In member function ‘sysync::TSyError
sysync::TEngineModuleBase::Connect(std::string, sysync::CVersion,
sysync::uInt16)’:
/home/jku/intel/sources/syncevolution/../libsynthesis/src/sysync_SDK/Sources/enginemodulebase.cpp:61:
error: unused variable ‘cbVersion’
The variable is unused when SYSYNC_ENGINE is not defined, so it looks like a
bug...
I had the feeling SYSYNC_ENGINE should have been defined though?

[Bug 2069] Synthesis error codes and explanation
by bugzilla@moblin.org

--- Comment #7 from jku <jku(a)linux.intel.com> 2010-02-09 00:57:41 PST ---
Documentating this weird error as well:
When I try to sync with a bluetooth device and fail in a transport related way
I get 10500 (LOCAL_STATUS_CODE + DB_Fatal). The real problem can be e.g. the
phone being out of range or unexpectedly disconnecting (like Nokia N85 seems to
do when it encounters a difficult situation):
This is what syncevolution command line prints when phone is out of range:
[ERROR] ObexTransport: Transport Exception in sdp_source_cb
[ERROR] TransportException while sending SAN package
[ERROR] Server Alerted Sync init failed

[Bug 4660] error info on sync-ui is inconsistent with commands

I think what you were seeing was the distinct errors: the sync ui might have
shown the same error if there wasn't an earlier error where the configuration
the ui expected to be there wasn't there.
Is this still reproducable somehow?

I think I just missed the Mx release, so decided to add a workaround for the
time being... It is now in jku-configuration-redesign with the device config
commits, but I can cherrypick that if the whole branch isn't going in just now.

[Bug 9169] New: GetConfig returns "-" for password
by bugzilla@moblin.org
http://bugzilla.moblin.org/show_bug.cgi?id=9169
Summary: GetConfig returns "-" for password
Classification: Moblin Projects
Product: SyncEvolution
Version: upstream
Platform: Netbook
OS/Version: Moblin Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: Undecided
Component: SyncEvolution
AssignedTo: yongsheng.zhu(a)intel.com
ReportedBy: jku(a)linux.intel.com
QAContact: yanshuang.zheng(a)intel.com
CC: syncevolution(a)lists.intel.com
Something seems to have changed lately as I get "-" for password in GetConfig
(password is saved in keyring). I assumed I'd get the real password.
Yongsheng, is this because of server side keyring implementation
(1dd1323f399a)?

[Bug 2229] D-Bus and sync-UI: progress spinner

I tried the spinner on syncUI with syncevolution 0.9.99.4 on
2.2-preview-20100203 image.
When it is in waiting status (connecting to the services before doing sync),
there is a cycle spinner shown under the "Sync" word.
When it began to do sync, the cycle spinner disappared and the rectangle bar
showed the progress. It is cool.
Verify it now. Thanks!
