(In reply to comment #1)
I retest it again on AVA, DUI-Netbook (and CDK). Finally, found
command
'syncevolution -l scheduleworld test' would let gnome-keyring to prompt a ***
keyring password dialog *** to input a password. So, the command hangs.
But on netbook, it won't.
Just in case these things were not clear (I'm not familiar with handheld stuff
so could be stating the obvious):
A) on the netbook the default keyring does not have a password. This should be
the case in handhelds as well, is it?
B) syncevolution does not require keyring: it can save passwords to a flat file
as well. I'm mentioning this just in case gnome-keyring is an unwanted package
on handhelds (I would have thought lots of apps would use a keyring, but
apparently not -- not gnome-keyring at least).
