Do we really need this? I know that Nick has suggested it in the GUI design,
but what exactly is the use case? IMHO I either want to sync all enabled
sources or none.
I have no tendency to this. I'll remove it. If the
'autosync' for a config is
enabled, then all *active* sources are synced automatically.
We have to be aware that this makes the GUI more complicated: when it
offers
only a single auto on/off option, it has to determine whether that applies to
Bluetooth or HTTP, based on the syncURL property. Even if we designed the
options differently (for example, autoSync = 0/1/http/obex+bt), this
distinction would have to be made in any case, because enabling for Bluetooth
should come with a warning about power consumption or even hide the option.
Yes,
that's true. To be simple, I prefer 'autoSync = 0/1/http/obex+bt'. For
support both of http and obex in one config, we can combine them in one
property. Otherwise, we have to add more properties, such as 'autoSyncUSB'.
