FWIW: I get interesting log messages on the server side whenever I do the export: Oct 25 01:11:46 hostname grsec: From ip.ip.ip.ip: denied RWX mmap of <anonymous mapping> by /usr/sbin/apache2[apache2:3603] uid/euid:500/500 gid/egid:500/5 00, parent /usr/sbin/apache2[apache2:2813] uid/euid:0/0 gid/egid:0/0 That is a grsec hardened kernel probably complaining about the Python interpreter.
