I don`t know how to recover from this situation?
Run syncevolution from the command line and note what it prints at the end of
the output. Doesn't that help?
Why did client and server get "out of sync"?
I don't know. Most likely a previous sync didn't complete normally.
"syncevolution --print-sessions" might tell you that.
My address book contains around 2000 entries, and I have
entries in Evolution that date back until the year 1999. Maybe, that`s too much
to be handled correctly by syncevolution?
SyncEvolution shouldn't have a problem with that.
