I merged into master and prepared syncevolution --version
1.1.99.5b+20110727+SE+b73fd3d+SYSYNC+0fd1d64
I know that the problem here (notifications for syncs that fail to start) is
fixed because for an invalid password I see the following in the dbus-monitor
output:
