Our desktop files mention "Icon=sync". We don't ship a corresponding icon

Yes this is correct. It actually shouldn't be in the icon theme -- we want to
use the icon elsewhere as well, so there's no need to include it in the theme.
I just didn't figure that out at the time.
I'll push a fix for gtk_window_set_default_icon_name() and then fix the icon
issue.
