Summary: By "delete local" sync method, the number of received
changes is doubled
Classification: Moblin Projects
Product: SyncEvolution
Version: upstream
Platform: Netbook
OS/Version: Moblin Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: Undecided
Component: GTK UI
AssignedTo: jku(a)linux.intel.com
ReportedBy: jingke.zhang(a)intel.com
QAContact: jingke.zhang(a)intel.com
CC: shuang.wan(a)intel.com, syncevolution(a)lists.intel.com
Release Milestone: ---
Image: distro 20090803-001
syncevolution: 0.8.1.99.6.09beta3.20090730-1.1
Description:
======================
After syncing, user will see the sync result summary on GUI. By "Delete all
local data and replace it with remote data" mode (call it "delete local"
for
short), the changes calculation is doubled.
For example, I had 4 addressbook data on the remote service. When using "delete
local" mode to do sync, result is: "last time: Received 8 changes." I
should
receive 4 changes. (does the 8 means: received 4 and delete 4?) This result is
wrong.
By "delete remote" mode, I will get result: "last time: Sent 4
changes.". It is
reasonable.
