Regarding the immediate flushing: this is kind of inefficient when

single entries to the mapping. As a short-term solution it is okay, but I'd

I suggest you file an issue for this, with low priority. We only need a
solution once talking to originators of such a SAN becomes relevant.

For libsyncml/OpenSync, did you find some other solution?
Do
you mean the SAN problem? I just checked they should support SAN 1.2, but
not tested. Any way, the original workaround which ignores the SAN package and
start syncing with a predefined configuration is not needed at all.
Is this something we need to carry out - interoperability with OpenSync? Server
or Client?
