Can you try with the following file in your home directory?
~/.config/syncevolution-xml/remoterules/server/00_sony_ericsson.xml
I put the file in the folder (had to create the whole directory system) but now
it works. I will do further testing on that, but i think this fixes the problem
at least with my sony-ericsson
