I tried to reproduce this with a N7100 (Symbian S40), without having any
problems. I tried:
* creating a new contact on both phone and PC, with photo: okay
* updating each contact on sender with different photo: okay
* update each contact on receiver with different photo: okay
"okay" means that the photo is transferred and shown on the other side.
I also tried the same with a N97 (Symbian S60), again without problems.
Your logs confirm that SyncEvolution is behaving normally. Sorry, but the only
conclusion that I can offer is that the phone's software is broken. Have you
checked whether you are running the latest OS available for it?
