I found libsyncml is not wrong, it just used an old SAN version (pre 1.2),
which is not a binary SAN package but an XML based message with a SyncML
message type.
Doing xml parsing outside of libsynthesis is not a good way, I will ask
synthesis for help.
I think the SAN code has some code for this, it is just not enabled in normal
builds. See the WITHOUT_SAN_1_1 define. The reason for not enabling it were a)
the additional dependencies and b) that the code wouldn't have compiled right
away.
I suggest you file an issue for this, with low priority. We only need a
solution once talking to originators of such a SAN becomes relevant.
For libsyncml/OpenSync, did you find some other solution?
