In practice having two configs with same name would be a problem in
GTK ui, but
OK for the UI design where every source is listed sorted by source type (and
not by configuration). Personally I think the latter is not smart but a 'leaky
abstraction'.
I agree. I think long-term we need a better solution for "set up anything
related to Google", at which point the current problem will become mute.
A compromise would use the technology names: "Google
SyncML" and "Google
WebDAV", but I don't like that idea either. Hardcoding a better name in one UI
is of course a possibility in the short term.
I'd prefer to change only one UI, ideally the MeeGo UX one because it is the
one under active development.
Can you and Gabriel figure something out and suggest a solution?
