The 'cancel sync' button however does not work as expected,
it starts the sync

As far as I can see, the client does everything correctly: It returns a
InfoResponse of type "response" with empty data hash. Server seems to continue
with the sync anyway and unsurprisingly gets 401 "authorization failed".
This should be a syncevolution core bug, and in moblin bugzilla, I suppose.
Also notice that, later I found no way to stop the erroneous syncing
process,
even CTR+C quits the UI didn't help, I finally kills syncevo-dbus-server for
that purpose..
I see the sync ending quite fast, with 401 (in UI that's "Failed to login.
Could there be a problem with your username or password")... Are you saying the
you see something different?
