Summary: nightly testing: automatic integration
Classification: Moblin Projects
Product: SyncEvolution
Version: upstream
Platform: Netbook
OS/Version: Other
Status: ASSIGNED
Severity: major
Priority: P2
Component: *Feature Request
AssignedTo: syncevolution(a)lists.intel.com
ReportedBy: patrick.ohly(a)intel.com
CC: syncevolution(a)lists.intel.com
The nightly testing should attempt to merge all open development branches into
one, then compile that. This helps to avoid surprises when a branch eventually
gets merged into master and then gets compiled on the different platforms for
the first time.
"open development branches" needs to be defined. We cannot simply merge all
unmerged branches because some of them might be too experimental or contain
dead code that is only kept around for archival purposes.
Perhaps we can use special namespaces for such branches ("archive/foo",
"experimental/patrick")?
