If this bug exists in not only one language, the best way is to fix in the code
not in the PO file.
I'm not sure I agree completely... I can make each and every string wrap of
course, but that will lead to ugly inconsistencies: sometimes the text takes
two lines, sometimes not, and the other UI elements will move or have strange
gaps because of that.
The first option in my opinion is modifying the translations, maybe you could
just say "Done" or "Complete" instead of "Sync complete". In
this case I'll add
a translator note about the max length, it definitely should be there.
If translators think there just isn't enough room for a decent title there, we
can make more room for the text or make the font size smaller. In a slightly
related note, I know that Nick is working on a better design, I'll mention this
problem...
