Does the command line hang or also sync-ui?
Yongsheng, you said that you can reproduce it with the sync-ui, and that it
doesn't reply to an InfoRequest. Why is there an InfoRequest at all? Shouldn't
"password=-" be checked in the GNOME keyring?
dbus server firstly check
it from GNOME keyring, however, if not found, it will
send a password request to clients. To test the scenario Jingke raises, I don't
set any password in the config. so InfoRequest is issued. Sync ui should pop up
a dialog for this I think.
Regarding the command line, I can imagine that it hangs because it is
asking
for a password interactively *in the syncevo-dbus-server*. a) when using the
daemon, the Cmdline should use the keyring and b) for "password=" (empty), it
must use InfoRequest and the syncevolution command line tool needs to implement
InfoReply.
Yes, it should implement this.
