When user create (at GUI) new service, user can put "space-character" to
service name like
'Goosync calendar'
When try to sync with that profile, process is created:
syncevolution --run goosync
(so there is no 'calendar' at end of commandline)
Result: you cannot kill prosess without going to commandline and issue "kill
xxx"
Reproduce Steps(steps,current result, reproduce possibility)

(1) create new service with space-character in the name
(2) press "Synchronize!" button
Expected result:

System starts synchronize but never ends.
Possible root cause:

There is no "" round profile name at command.

The arguments are passed an array, not as a shell-parsed string, so quoting is
not needed. Service names with spaces seem to work in my testing. Also, if the
service name had really been wrong, syncevolution would fail with an error, not
hang. I don't think spaces have anything to do with your problem.
The GooSync server is typically *very* slow, it could take minutes before
something happens. How long did you wait for the sync?

After creating service (at UI), there was directory
'/home/user/.config/syncevolution/goosync\ calendar/
With that synchronization was not working. After renaming that directory:
(at xterm, as root) goosync\ calendar to goosync synchronization start working
right away!
And yes, I waited almost 15 minutes! And if you pressed (at UI) cancel button,
nothing happened.
And there is other "problem" too.. When synchronization ends to error 20043,
system brings that error message to the N900 screen, but you cannot click it so
it would close, you must go to the xterm and kill whole process.

Well, if I rename the directory to "goosync calendar", the sync still works
perfectly for me. (The directory name didn't actually contain a backslash, did
it?)
Could it have something to do with PR1.2? I haven't upgraded to it yet, I
suppose I should get around to it soon.

No, directory name didn't contain backlash.
I just made test where I created (second) sync profile 'name space' and tried
to sync.. Ending "Synchronization failed" message on screen, message what I
cannot click close... But that's other bug.. (kill -command at xterm killed it)
Yes, it could be PR1.2 related, I never tried this sync with previous version.
OR it's related to some other piece of software (libs?).

I've upgraded to PR1.2 and tried to rename the directory to "goosync
calendar".
The sync still works great for me.
Sorry, I have no further ideas. May just have to close this bug as
unreproducible...
