Maybe you should nag desknow to teach their server a more appropriate
error code. :)
Even if the server had returned something useful, I'm not sure
SyncEvolution really would have retried it - at least not automatically.
Let's go for an approach with an explicit "SyncMLVersion" configuration
option => currently discussed here:
