That situation is detected by src/syncevo-dbus-server.cpp. Do you want
to detect the output, or do you want to patch the file?

It would be very useful if you could provide a patch implementing this.
I haven't looked at the issue again, but the idea roughly was that a
client should provide a valid username/password matching some default
username/password on the server before being allowed to proceed.
