[SyncEvolution] nokia n900: install failed?

Hi, Maybe I'm a complete dummy but I just tried to install syncevolution as described in http://syncevolution.org/documentation/installation in the paragraph about Nokia internet tablets by clicking in the install-file link - but my device tells me syncevolution is not available. What am I doing wrong? What's the second best way to install it? thanks & kind regards, stephan
