That's it. Those templates under /usr/etc are not meant to be copied
manually. Instead they are input for syncevolution during the normal
"syncevolution --configure funambol". If we had a "type" property in
the
memo source template, it would have worked, though, so I think we should
add it.
Sorry, I missed that part about "copying" of your initial description.
Please have a look at this page, it describes how to do the initial

Besides having that crucial "type" property, you also end up with
comments in the config.ini files, so if you feel like editing them later
on, that will be a bit easier.
Just an aside: I really appreciate the responses. I've been
persisting
with opensync for years, and initial experiences with this project
indicates that it's much more active. Thanks!
Thanks for bringing this up! Perhaps you have a hint how we could
improve the documentation or the release announcements so that other
