I was recently pleased to find syncevolution now does direct phone
to
evolution synchronization.
So I have installed syncevolution beta3 on my Ubuntu 9.10 system and
have got it very nearly all working. The bluetooth connection went
fairly smoothly and then I ran sync-ui which saw the E71, all well so
far.
However as far as I can see when I synchronise it only ever copies
data from the E71 phone to Evolution, it never copies anything from
Evolution to the phone.
I'm currently trying syncevo-phone-config.py, I'll report back with any
success/failure.
No success:-
Start 1186/1188 test
Start 1187/1188 test
Start 1188/1188 test
Test Ended
****************SUMMARY****************
No working configuration found
While I'm about it, how do I remove the syncevolution configuration I
already have? sync-ui give no clue as to where it is and doesn't
allow one to clear it so, if you've chosen the wrong phone type,
you're stuck!
