I'll check both the options. If the DBus approach is complete &
possible, I could try to do it that way.
Let me add that Jussi wrote client-side wrapper library for the GTK UI
which simplifies using the D-Bus API with glib. See src/dbus/glib/ in
the SyncEvolution source code.
