Hello!
First of all, congratulations for the final release! Nice to see
SyncEvolution evolve so fast.
(Seems like the Genesis 0.6 release was just in time :-) )
Now to the less enjoyable things: People experienced problems using
Genesis 0.6 and Ubuntu's syncevolution package from Lucid. It seems like
the package doesn’t install the D-Bus service files into the right place
(at least the Traceback points in that direction).[1]
For now, I recommend using the packages from
syncevolution.org (as I
do), and I am thinking about setting the dependencies to forcing
syncevolution-evolution instead of syncevolution. But of course it would
be nice if syncevolution worked out of the box on Ubuntu. Has anybody
experienced similar issues? Is it possible to fix that package?
Cheers,
Frederik
