[SyncEvolution] syncEvolution without Evolution dependency

This might sound like an obvious question, but can I build syncEvolution without install Evolution itself? I don't use Evolution, rather Thunderbird and am interested in syncEvolution for its synching directly over Bluetooth. I would then synch via Fundambol and its corresponding TB extension.
