it's great to know that my how-to helped you, thats essence of Open source I guess !!!
It was not possible to accomplish this without excellent support of Congwu and Patrick. Kudos to them.
I also observed same issues with Calendar sync in Nokia terms which combines Events and Todos.
This is already documented in following bugs and I hope syncevolution team will be able to fix this in future.

Any idea how we can sync Notes? This is not even possible via Opensync as evo2-sync plugin for evolution doesn't seem to support Notes/Memos.
