Are you sure http will work? Http could not work for me.
You are right, I didn't really change to http as I had thought. I ran
into a new bug and didn't notice that my command line was slightly wrong
(syncevolution error messages for invalid config parameters are
swallowed, #4676).
So we have to use https and disable certificate checking.
