Well, this stuff has been discussed before, and is a known problem. The
easiest solution is to just disable the SSL certificate checking...

It seems to be built against OpenSSL. (Then I should consider also
linking against the OpenSSL version of libneon instead of the GnuTLS
version of it, I suppose, but that's another matter...)
