I think Ove was honestly trying to help, and I think he did by doing a
recap of the entire architecture, something that I had neglected to do.
That he hasn't rewritten the documentation has many reasons, all of them
perfectly okay. For example, he wrote and maintains the SyncEvolution
ports for Maemo and the Jolla phone in his spare time, which is enough
work already.
That you're interested in how communication works is in that
context
pretty hilarious. I am only well-versed in formal communication -
between analytic philosophy and aspergers I know where my handicap
lies. But with your interest in mind, what did you envision to be the
reaction to your exasperated claim that this is taking an amazingly
long time to sink in? What did you intend to convey or achieve? I
don't see much positive in that particular piece of communication.
It was just a neutral observation and an explanation why he chimed in.
