I'm tempted to give that a try. Without a chance to see it live it is a
bit hard to determine whether it'll work for us, though. Can you set
this up for us?

Can and should we limit this expanded editing to a specific
namespace,
like http://syncevolution.org/wiki?
Yes, this is exactly how I had set it up before. This helps quite a bit with
clear urls and makes it easier for people to find the page they just
created!
