Did you register with the jea62q@... email address?
Yes, as irihapeti with that email address. It won't be a spam filter problem
because I have the isp spam filters turned off. I've left a couple of follow-up
messages with that same address and had nothing arrive here.
A known problem. Unfortunately there's always something more
important
to work on, so it hasn't gotten the attention that it deserves :-/
Understood. We can't do everything. I have that discussion with a few of my
family and friends. :)
Strange. Irihapeti, when you look for changes, do you see no
separate
"Appointments" and "Tasks" heading at all?
I get the "Appointments & Tasks" heading, but no data below it. Just a
blank.
I've just noticed that there are no backups listed under the Restore from
Backup heading in the Fix a sync emergency screen either. They definitely do
exist in the .cache directory.

I can reproduce that. It affects both events created originally on the
phone and on the PC. As soon as the PC tries to send an update, the
phone rejects it. See
http://bugs.meego.com/show_bug.cgi?id=9600
I recall noticing, when I was using OpenSync, that the phone's PC Suite server
would send a 404 message to the obex server on the computer. It's a while ago,
and I don't remember the rest of the details.
I have a preliminary solution.
I'd be willing to do some testing. Especially as I have two phones and one of
them is a backup. (It was supposed to have died, and turned out to be easily
repairable.)
I might add that, as far as I'm concerned, these issues are fairly minor. I'm
very happy with the program as a whole.
