The introductory text on the main page is a little verbose and tries to
cram too many good features in to a first impression.
I don't see how to change that page (or maybe I don't have the right
access), but I'd like to change it to this:

memos. It syncs to web services via HTTP or to SyncML-capable phones via
Bluetooth.

I would also like to move the "Recent Blog Posts" and "About the web
site" blocks to the right, putting some secondary introductory text at
the left (moved from About), along with a screenshot.
The "Featured Posts" is just a verbose duplicate of "Recent Blog
Posts".
The reader is drawn to those blocks of text, but that time-specific
information is not the most informative for new visitors.

This puts too much focus on SyncML. This might have been the main focus
in the past, but now CalDAV/CardDAV are also possible (and perhaps even
more relevant). And there will be ActiveSync.

download directory because it has more instructions.

True. The idea was that not all blog posts are "featured", but because
only very few get posted, all of them ended up being highlighted like

I suggest that you still leave the "Recent Blog Posts" block on the main
page, on the right. That shows the titles.

Done, though in the end I decided on just two blocks on the front page,
removing the "About the web site" block which (somehow) showed a
particular announcement page. I copied some of its content into a simple
new text block at the left, along with some of the (removed) About text.
Can I edit the CSS without access to the server itself? I'd like the
introductory text (at the top) to have the same paragraph spacing as the
main content. I can use <br></br> but I'd like to do it properly.

Sorry for not jumping in here. I'm on a deadline today for another launch. I can take
a look next week, but it looks like you guys figured most of it out. If the CSS does need
to be changed, it needs to be committed to code. I see this part of the CSS should have a
bottom margin: #mission p. I can get to that next week!
