i'm debugging the calendar synchro in order to understand the mechanism .
i tried to retrieve LAST-MODIFIED field using this code :

but an error occur :
[ERROR] calendar: basic_string::_S_construct NULL not valid

What you see is std::string being constructed with NULL instead of a
valid string. Not sure whether it is really related to that line.
Run in gdb and do "catch throw" to locate the actual location where it
occurs.

i tried the same test code to retrieve DTSTART ,DTEND,SUMMARY and it works .
only the LAST-MODIFIED field return a null pointer in it's data, i don't
understand why .

The reason is that "LAST-MODIFIED" is not the name of the field. You
need to use "DMODIFIED". See:
syncevolution/src/syncevo/configs/datatypes/10calendar-fieldlist.xml
If the semantic of a field is unclear, look at how it maps to the
iCalendar 2.0 standard:
syncevolution/src/syncevo/configs/datatypes/11calendar-profile.xml

Modify the field lists and profiles in src/syncevolution/config.
