I tried it on my fc11. Memo is not enabled by syncevolution defaultly. If it is enabled, error info about memo not found should be provided. The evolution-data-server on my fc11 is 2.26.1-1. Not sure why memo is not supported here, while on fc10 with eds-2.24.1-2, memo is enabled and works. There is configured servers in /usr/etc/default/syncevolution/, while the printed configured servers are stored at $HOME/.config/syncevolution I install sync (http://downloads.syncevolution.org/syncevolution/evolution/syncevolution-...) in a clean fc11, no sync installed before and no configuration before. Then configure service using funambol or scheduleworld template. The configuration is like: $ syncevolution -p --quiet funambol

[memo] sync = disabled type = memo # evolutionsource = uri = note # evolutionuser = # evolutionpassword =

The content of Config.ini in /usr/etc/default/syncevolution/Funambol/memo is uri = note no type info.

Running "syncevolution" without parameters shows whether there is any memo database on the computer.

Those templates under /usr/etc are not meant to be copied manually. Instead they are input for syncevolution during the normal "syncevolution --configure funambol". To get started with syncevolution, I installed the rpm, copied the default funambol config and added a username/password. I also had to "yum install pcre-devel" and "ln -s /usr/lib/libpcrd.so /usr/lib/pcre.so.3".

The f11 package is pcre-7.8.2.
