I just tried with the version in the archive and a freshly built version, and I could not duplicate the behaviour. I agree that it would be nicer from a user point to get 1.0.1 in for Squeeze, but with the freeze being announced August 6, it will require some convincing of the release managers. If there other severe problems with current packages, please file debian bugs as soon as possible. David
